VinylPlus Deutschland e.V. represents VinylPlus, the European PVC industry’s commitment to sustainable development in Germany, working to improve the sustainability performance of polyvinyl chloride, known as PVC or vinyl. PVC is one of the most widely used plastics in the world with a wide range of long-life applications such as window frames, pipes, flooring, cables, sport equipment, traffic management equipment, furniture and a range of lifesaving medical devices.
Throughout their entire life cycle, these products increasingly contribute to sustainable development through modern manufacturing and production methods, responsible energy and resource management, cost-effective production and processing, and established recycling. PVC can be recycled multiple times, and VinylPlus works to do this.
Continuing proven measures and proactively implementing new ideas—a combination that has shaped VinylPlus Deutschland’s successful work for more than 30 years. Currently, VinylPlus Deutschland brings together more than 60 member companies along the entire PVC value chain.
